How to Export Xiaohongshu Chat Data

Step-by-Step Guide

Open Xiaohongshu App

Open the Xiaohongshu app on your mobile device and log in to your account.

Access Chat Interface

Navigate to the chat section in the app to view your conversations.

Method 1: Screenshot Messages

For individual messages or short conversations:

• Long press on the message you want to save
• Select “Multi-select” to choose multiple messages
• Use your phone’s screenshot function to capture the selected messages
• For longer conversations, use scroll screenshot feature (available on some Android devices) or take multiple screenshots and combine them using image editing software

Method 2: Copy Text Content

For text messages:

• Long press on the text message you want to save
• Select “Copy” option
• Paste the content into a notes app or document application for saving

Xiaohongshu does not currently provide an official feature to export or backup all chat records in bulk. The methods above allow you to manually save important chat content. Please ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and respect others’ privacy when saving chat content.
