How to Export Snapchat Data

Step-by-Step Guide

Access My Data

Log in to your Snapchat account on accounts.snapchat.com. You can also access this page from the Snapchat app by going to Settings (tap the gear icon ⚙️ at the top of your Profile) and selecting My Data.

Request Data Download

Click My Data on the accounts page, then select the data you would like to include in your download. Available data includes Login History, Account Information, Snap History, Saved Chat History, Memories, Purchase History, Friends, Location, Search History, Bitmoji, and more.

Choose Date Range

Select the date range of data you’d like to receive, or toggle this off if you want to receive all data. Note that longer time ranges and larger downloads take longer to process (typically within 7 days, but large downloads may take longer).

Confirm Email and Submit

Confirm the email address where you’d like to receive the notification when your data is ready. Click Submit at the bottom of the page.

Download Your Data

We’ll send you an email with a link once your data is ready to download. Or, you can view your recent exports on the accounts.snapchat.com page. Select See exports, then Download to export and download your data as a zip file.

Export Memories Only (Optional)

To request a Memories-only export, follow the same steps but toggle Export your Memories to on and click Request Only Memories. Once downloaded, extract the zip file and open index.html in your browser to view and download your individual Memories.
